Kisumu airport
Kisumu Airport is Kenya’s third busiest airport in terms of passenger traffic after Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Moi de Mombasa International Airport.
The airport has a runway that is 3300 meters long and 45 meters wide. It also has two terminals, including a freight terminal equipped with a cold room.
Two firefighting security mates are stationed at the airport, in addition to a police station.
Access plans
Located 5.5 km from the center of Kisumu, Kenyan airport is accessible by the B1 road. from Port Florence Hospital, take the motorway, go around the roundabout and turn right then continue to the airport.
Means of access
There is no bus line connecting the airport to the center or other places in the city. The shuttle is provided by taxi or vehicle chartered by some hotels.
CarĀ Park
A car park is placed just in front the entrance of the terminal, adapted to the needs of drivers coming to the airport, it offers around 100 places.
