Kenya Airways connects Nairobi to Mogadishu

The airline Kenya Airways intends to launch by the end of the year direct flights between Nairobi and Mogadishu. In a statement, the Kenyan airline said the Somali capital will be connected to the Kenyan capital for a daily flight.

According to the boss of the African company Sebastian Mikosz, this new link aims to strengthen air connectivity between the two countries by responding to the strong demand of Somali travelers, whether tourists or entrepreneurs.

According to statistics released by Kenya’s National Bureau of Statistics, Somalia is one of the most important export markets for Kenya, which may explain its desire to conquer the Somali skies.
