Kenya Airways will fly to New York next month
Kenya Airways is about to launch a new airline between Nairobi and New York. The African carrier is only waiting for approval of the TSA in order to begin its service to the US state. The inaugural flight is scheduled for the end of next month.
In a statement, the Kenyan airline has announced that these flights to New York JFK airport, will be provided by Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner two-class. This aircraft recently received by Kenya Airways can accommodate 234 passengers.
The creation of this new air route is part of a strategy to develop the network of the largest air transport company in Africa. The latter has recently signed a code share agreement with Delta Air Lines allowing it to place its codes on lines serving Amsterdam, Paris, Accra and London from Nairobi.
